Neat place with a dinner feel. Waitress was friendly and service was quick. My turkey melt without the bread was good, the flavor from the grilled turkey with the bacon was a great taste. The menu had a wide selection, with reasonable prices.

The cooking can be good quality and creative when they try, and I once had great beer-boiled sausage here, and well spiced pumpkin pancakes, but the staples like the home fries can really lack flavor. The simple stuff and flavors need a fresh perspective.

Yummy typical dinner fare in Federal Hill. Food comes out quickly, hot, and for a reasonable price. Lots of street parking in the area.

The food was delicious and they have a large variety of meals to choose from. The place was packed and it took a little while to get a table for 2, so I would definitely not come if you're trying to eat in a rush, but it was definitely worth the wait.

It's a very welcoming and lovely establishment. The food is always good and the service is always great. I find the menu to be priced very reasonable and I always have a great time here.

Great place!! Stopped in for lunch. Service was fast and polite, prices are fair. Food was amazing. Got a A-BLT that looked foodie worthy and a chicken burger that hit the spot so good I needed a nap after. Greta location. Bubble tea house right next door for a sweet treat after. Will return again

My family was happy that we tried this new (to us) restaurant vs going to some of our main staples. We were heading to something at the Convention Center so this location was good. All people in my party enjoyed their food, server was attentive. The space was a little tight (we had a car seat) but overall a positive breakfast experience!

Quality ingredients carefully prepared. And the tables were wiped clean, which, unfortunately, does not seem to be the norm at fast-food-type restaurants anymore. Also the employees were friendly and attentive.

I'm new to R.I. and The Classic Cafe has been my go-to for breakfast and an absolute treat after a long night of unpacking. Good portions for price! The french toast and their iced coffee is my favorite so far, but I look forward to trying out the rest of their menu! Thanks for the great meals!

I have always had a great experience at this fantastic breakfast joint. The prices are extremely reasonable and the portions are very large. The service is almost always perfect and the coffee is good. They can get a little busy during peak hours and have limited seating. Overall one of my favorite breakfast locations I always seem to return to.

Eggs were cracked on grill then scrambled, giant patches of white. Hash browns were cold. Potato pancakes were gross and cold. Apparently they squish old home fries with mashed overseasoned potato. Service was great, apparently they are used to complaints.

I find this place disgusting. I waited outside for almost 20 minutes waiting for someone to come to me until I had to get up and get someone my self, I asked for a cup of coffee and when the girl gave me the coffee the cups was very dirty, the spoons as well. I mean if they can't keep a cup clean what do you expect with the food. The only thing I like was the over easy egg. They need to have a better hygiene.

I have been to this cafe a few yrs ago..nothing changed..typical greasy spoon!! I didnt enjoy it last and disliked more this time!! Cleanliness still is an issue, actually I think it was worse..table tops,silverware..augghh!! Sloow service after the cold food was given to us the waitress never came back to ck on us until it was ck.time! It seemed as though there is no trading or structure in this place..its obvious to me that the help has no knowledge of Safe serve requirements..this place has potential if..IF...

Got the Florentine Benedict and the 2 toast french toast. Giving 1 star because the French toast was decent. The English muffin underneath the Florentine Benedict was super soggy and the side of fresh fruit tasted not so fresh. The home fries were only okay. I think I got a stomachache not long afterwards.

Old fashioned cafe with delicious food. Breakfast is one of my favorites - love a place that makes biscuits and gravy! Lunch is also very tasty - sandwiches and soup. The chili is my fiance's favorite!

We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this little gem! The quality, cleanliness and craftsmanship of their creations are very impressive. I have rarely seen a cleaner grill hood in a kitchen. I love that you can watch all operations from the counter, from food prep to cooking and cleaning. Complete transparency and accountability. It was overall a great experience. We will gladly return when we are in the area!

This is and will always be my favorite diner in Providence and has been for years! I love the selections especially the potatoes pancakes. I secretly crave them at night. Lol. But food is freshly and the omelettes are unique. Keep it up!

Come hungry! We shared the HASHITAS corned beef hash served like fajitas. It was enormous. We didn't even eat the tortillas and we thought we could have used as third person to share it with. It's not fancy. They serve really hearty, comforting food.

Fun diner, upbeat staff, great meal options. Our first time here and we were both happy! The eggs Benedict has a great flavor to their sauce. My wife got the combo with big sausages. Cute atmosphere with private seating which makes it nice. We will be back!k#RockFromRI

Great classic and simple atmosphere, almost old-fashioned cafe. It was an early morning when my father and I found the little place, the service was great, the warm welcome was great, our food was delicious - minus 1 star because our waitress forgot to bring over our fries and orange juice - at the end of the meal they wanted to charge us for the fries and the juice. But we replied "you didn't bring these to us" Kindly she apologized, fix up the check slip, we paid, and that was that. Definitely recommend going here for a quick bite early in the morning but do check your pay slip before they charge you. 🥤

Cute place, stopped in for a quick bite on a Sunday. Had the patty melt and it was juicy and fries were pretty good too. The hostess and waitress were really friendly and helpful. 1 less because it was really hot inside, granted it’s a 90 degree day. Will return again!

Wow!! A great surprise! Eggs cooked as ordered, AWESOME hashbrowns, sourdough toasted PERFECTLY! Also had homemade country gravy and biscuits. Wonderfully done! Friendly and nice staff and fair prices with good coffee.

Got home delivery.. just terrible food. Seemed stale / rotten food. Bacon was rotten and couldn't eat it.. french toast had a horrible after-taste that it felt like we had something we shouldn't have.. omlette had egg shells in them.. rest of the food went straight to bin .. just a terrible terrible experience

The food here us always fantastic and beyond what you expect....i had heuvos rancheros it was the best I have ever had truly. Nothing I have ever seen it was amazing 💚💚I highly recommend this gem.. Thanks again for for a great breakfast.

I went today for lunch. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Place is kinda cool. Our lunch of a reuben and tuna melt was delicious. I liked the alternative of fruit with my sandwich instead of fries. Next time I'm getting breakfast!
